Another Driver
Posted under Parenting by adminSometime in the next 2 weeks, Clint will have his driver’s permit. He has taken all the tests and passed them so it is only a matter of time. It seems so strange to be on the cusp of having another driver in the house! He and I were talking about insurance the other day. And I am so glad that my father-in-law is our insurance agent! There is no need for us to get a bunch of auto insurance quotes. He will do the work for us and get us the best deal. I am thankful that Clint is a good student. That will help with the premium amount. He can’t do anything about being a teen boy so we will have to take every discount we can find! But really, I think he will be a good driver so I am not too nervous. And the Illinois law that only allows a teen driver to have siblings and one friend in the car is a good one. I remember having a carload of friends and how distracting that was. Anyway by this time next week, I hope to have Clint driving home from his games instead of me.
