Old Folks

My mom’s fiance had a massive stroke about 6 weeks ago. I have learned a lot about Medicare plans and what they will pay for. I wish that I didn’t have to learn it in such a sad way. I suppose that is part of having older folks in your life. And really I like the older set. Don’t you? I find them fascinating. And I don’t mean in a scientific way. I mean that conversation with them is fascinating. They have such a different perspective than those of us in the middle of life. And they stories and history they have stored in their brains! Amazing stuff! And then there is the sad things like medicare. I choose to focus on the good stuff and not the sad stuff.
